I am selling my MC845-C monoblocks. 18w into 8 or 4ohms, including 2 x 18v bucking transformers in wood cases. These are 220v versions, so bucking transformers are used to drop the UK voltage to suit. Link here- http://www.dms-audio.com/bucking-transformer-diy Avery simple and elegant method, I use them on my other Chinese amps to great effect, and as they use 100VA transfromers when the 845s need less than half that, you can power something else at the same time, or just use one for both amps and the other one is spare.
The 845 valves were replaced last November with 845Bs, and 6SN7s are RCAs. There is a small mark on the top of one transformer, and only one front panel has the Ming Da squiggle printed on it; I don't know why!
My wife wants a simpler system, one she can understand, so the 3 way active system is out. These amps were used for the midrange, Parasound HCA-1205A fro the bass, and a little EL84 amp for the treble. All going.
There are a couple of polycarbonate valve covers too.
I am looking for £550 for the pair, plus carriage, including the bucking transformers, I have the original boxes and simple mains leads are included. These are heavy beasts, so localish would make the most sense.
They ARE black, it's just my phone camera makes them look grey!

I have found the maple "sand-box" bases that I made for these. The size matches the amps, and they are included in the price. I will post pics when I have time.

Here are the pics; just fill with dry sand. M6 inserts in the base for spikes. The marks on the side are parcel tape, just peel and wipe.

Free ebay listing this weekend, so off they go. But without the covers and bases.

Such a shame as I like these a lot Richard however it is that old bugbear cashflow, or the lack thereof, which has put paid to me making an offer for these. good luck with the sale on ebay dude and I hope they go to a good home and realize what you are asking for them ;)
