I am a spotify premium user. Is this soundpimp a worthwhile improvement on sq if use with spotify? Any advice would be grateful.

From a brief look at their website, it looks like it alters the spacial presentation of the music rather than the actual quality of reproduction.

Ye gods! It's like a well spelled Nigerian 419 email, what a lot of cobblers!

Their interpretation of stereo is laughable, as if all stereo recordings are generated using a spaced pair of cardioids - there's no mention of X/Y stereo techniques (much less any acknowledgement that crosstalk is a crucial aspect of some stereo techniques - the time delay of signal arrival at the ear combined with the comb filtering that your head generates is what helps us to localise sound) or the fact that the great majority of stereo music is generated out panned mono sources (so-called 'artificial stereo').

So no, I don't believe it will improve SQ but it might be a pleasing novelty effect that you might enjoy, however all the claims of enhanced 'realism' are bobbins.
