I am into DIY, horn loudspeakers 100hz concrete tractrix, 400hz concrete tractrix, beyma CP21, 30 hz truncated bass horn soon to be open baffle "horns" 4 15" drivers per side similar to BD Design, concrete Connoisseur with RB300, eti4000 vero board phono stage, single ended el34 power amp, sony cd player. So many projects to do, lenco idler drive turntable, LCR phono stage, the previously mentioned bass "horns", a more powerful single ended valve amp. I spend too much time listening to get the projects done very quickly.

Hi Wayne,
Welcome to AoS - do you find time to listen to music in between all that DIY work you do? If so, then what do you like?

Cheers

That is the problem too much listening not enough building, or perhaps that is the way it should be. Any music that has musical merit is good. That by definition excludes a lot of the modern stuff. There seems to be no riffs and tunes that stick in my mind after hearing most of the recent music on the TV on a Saturday morning, no inspiration for me to buy it. So my taste covers Blues, jazz, rock, classical, country.

Hello Wayne,

I hope your floor is strong enough with all that concrete  sounds an interesting system, glad you have time to listen to the music as well as your DIY bits.

You'll find plenty of help from like minded people on this forum, the main object is to

enjoy your music

regards Al
