Hi all.
Tannoy Monitor Gold 12" Loudspeakers
Here I have a beautiful matched pair of 12" Tannoy Monitor Gold loudspeakers. :eek:
The 12" drivers are a really quite amazing, very similar to the 15" in the right cabinets, loads of bass and super detailed dynamics. Crossovers can be bought on ebay albeit vintage (when they come up) or the newly made ones which are very good indeed.
They are missing their gaskets but these can be replaced and are not really necessary especially if your use the adapter rings that are also for sale. See below.
(DRIVERS ONLY - NO CROSSOVERS OR CABINETS)
They have come from a pair of Lancaster cabinets and are in perfect working condition. Matched at the factory circa 1968 with very close serial numbers.
They sound superb and measure perfectly (please see pics)
The cones are the doped surround versions - the best - and are in perfect condition.
Serial numbers are:
Sn. 081313 - LF Measures .005 - HF Measures .010
Sn. 084988 - LF Measures .005 - HF Measures .010
(LF=Low Frequency driver - HF = High Frequency driver)
As you can see, perfectly matched.
