Hi everyone, my name is Colin and I'm from Belfast. I've been a long time lurker of the forums and decided it was about time I joined.
I love music, always have done and all different genres.
My set-up is very basic right now...flac files played through pc (self-build) onboard sound to Beyer DT770 pro headphones.
I'm going to improve my set-up over time hopefully with the advice of more experienced users on this forum. My first upgrade though is going to be a new dac. I was just about to pull the trigger on the Beresford Bushmaster before it was pulled from production and since then the Yulong D100 MII has been really tempting me.....however I'm going to hold out for the new version of the Beresford.
Anyway I hope to chat to you all in the future and contribute to the site in some form or another, thanks.

Hi Colin and welcome to the forum.

I can vouch for Beresford DACs as I have the Caiman and would recommend you hold out for a Bushmaster rather than going for another manufacture!

Also Stan Beresford is a pretty good chap and a regular contributor to this forum :)

Hi Colin

Your setup sounds like Hifi of the future (to me), probably the way it's all going.
Good advice here whatever you do

Mike

Welcome dude.

Gotta admit if I had headphones, I'd like to try a valve amp.
