My humble home system

Hi all
New here and thought would post a couple of pics of my system.
Panasonic plasma
Yamaha aventage ax-810 amp
Monitor audio bx5 front speakers, bx centre, bx1 rears, monitor audio 360 sub, chord carnival silverscreen
Late 2012 Mac mini i5 2.5 dual core 16gb ram, ps3 slim,sky hd, home made mains where possible woth supra lorad cable and mk tough plugs etc, tacima mains leads, aple airport x, wd 1tb network drive.
Serves me well and i do enjoy it especially when the little one is at nursery and the wife is at work, i get the house to myself for my lunch hour and am able to have it turned up a notch or two!

Like I said, very nice looking system. What's the size of your listening room?

We only have a little two up two down as its our first house. Area suited rather than a bigger house elswhere etc but we are up for sale now!
I think the room is roughly 11.5' x 15' (ft)

That's not too bad size I think ours is only 12' x 16' but it is better as s rectangle for the Hifi :)

had a busy day yesterday, fitting new ethernet leads & making sure its a bit more tidy as with the home cinema amp there is just so many wires & connections to sort! wii has gone as the wife never uses it, made a new lead for my mac using mk tough plug & supra lorad 1.5mm cable & used a MCRU fig 8 plug & their solder for the connection. Heat shrink'ed it & looks a good job
Also installed my new custom acrylic mac shelf which i think they did a fantastic job with, exact measurements & really neat & professional finish.
To finish it off i removed the LED strips i had behind the tv and front left & right speakers & installed them in the cabinet which makes the acrylic shelf light up really nicely as well as providing various colours & brightness at night.

the company that made my shelf are called acrylicraft based in Nantwich, they said they would look at other parts if people wanted to ask them for various hifi requirements if anyone is interested.

Also very pleased with my mark grant cable, it has made a difference from the sky box to the amp.
