This is a pretty awesome piece of kit.
Predominantly a portable headphone amplifier, the n4 also has other great features
The n4 is also a 32bit 192khz USB Dac ith a high powered high current head amp which can also be used as an SPDIF converter to feed usb through to a non USB Dac or for extra jitter control to a dac that does have USB.
It is powered by a USB cable and is completely portable and throws out 100mw into headphones, even my Creek OBH21SE can't do anywhere near that plugged into the wall!
Fitted with a good quality digital volume and all audiophile internals
It has a nice aluminium and hand stitched leather case which makes it rugged for portability
Sound quality is great, nice and richly detailed like a good class A amp.
I haven't had it long and am about to shoot on some pricey wireless cans so thought I could maybe offset a little by offering this up for sale, I already have a few dacs and another head amp so and portability is of no use to me.
Retail on these is just under $500 plus shipping and importing etc
£150 plus £5 delivery for a quick sale
TNT say its as good as the Hiface Dac and the SPDIF converter is as good as the Hiface 2, I say the headamp is as good as my Creek but warmer sounding or richer in tone.
