Trinnov ST2 Room Optimiser

Problem with that Dave, is that you need the machine or something similar to fix any problems you may have. Just passing it round would tell you where the problems lie, but you'd not be able to fix them without buying one, or something similar, yourself.

Can you you use usb as an input option?

All of this gets a bit confusing for me because if this were in the chain i'd be worried about the Trinnov injecting it's own noise into the digital stream (after just cleaning the digital signal to about immaculate via ifi with it's own linear psu).

What's the asking price for one of these please Keith?

The ST2 doesn't have a USB input, when I use my computer as source I use a Weiss INT 202 FireWire converter or for the PC an M2Tech HiFace2.
The Trinnov has a proper linear supply ,it is primarily designed as a room optimiser ,but you can use it as a preamp, it has properly dithered attenuation, inbuilt A/D and D/A ,you can even use it to configure your crossovers in an active system
The four capsule mic is unique, Trinnovs main business is in recording/mastering,broadcast , cinemas etc.

With the demonstration comes everything you need for the room measurement, including the unique Trinnov 4 capsule measurement microphone,which can differentiate between direct and reflected sound.
