Hi All,

A friend of mine is looking at selling his early quad II power amplifiers and quad II pre-amplifier.

These are in original condition (showing signs of age) other than a slight modification to the power input to make them slightly safer. One of the power amplifiers needs a bit of attention, as the transformer has become a problem.

My buddy can go ahead and tackle the work himself on replacing the transformer or sell the amplifiers to someone willing to do the work themselves minus the cost of having this work completed.

I've not much of an idea what the price should be for these items, and so am open to suggestion and offers.

Nathan

PS. I'll try and get some pics up in the next couple of days.

To help get an idea of value please include a valve inventory.

Might also be an idea to describe exactly what the problem is with the transformer.

I know, I know. I called to his house last night, but he must have been down at his man-shed as he didn't answer.
