My stepson harry, is 17. For his a levels he has transferred to the girls grammar school.where he met Emily who is 18. They were keen to emphasise they are not an item - just class mates. Well , she has been for sleepovers, and today I found them snuggling under a duvet watching a dvd. It was 30 degrees!
I said to Harry, before Emily goes she must listen to my posh gramophone.
I played them my half speed mastered version of 10cc "I'm not in love"..
Oh you naughty man you...
Confused.com - What I don't quite get is why your stepson has transferred to a girls school??

Because, like gordon, he is a lucky lucky bastard. If only I could have in my day. Here in kent we have selective single sex grammar schools. But about 10 years ago, partly to enable viability for a broad range of a level subjects, they offered specialisms at 6th form and allowed the other sex in.
The real laugh is that one of Harry's a levels is PE. He plays club rugby and cricket. I bought him some blue gym knickers for his new school...:eyebrows:

She did. She said it was amazing. She's a lovely girl. However she also described some teenage noise from youtube on the pc speakers as amazing, my galaxy note phone as amazing..... lovely girl - no hifi reviewer

I went to an all boys school in Kent although it wasn't so bad, we had an all girls school right next door to us to balance things out... hehe

I went to Manor Park in Aldershot, weird arrangement with separate boys school on the same site as all girls schools with a wall between. We moved to Frimley while I was in the 1st year so changed schools as some distance away.
Found out later that Manor Park became an all girls school sometime after I left and the boys moved to Heron something or other
They obviously didn't have enough manliness after I went :)
It sounds like a similar arrangement Mike although the two schools, Temple (boys) and Chapter (girls), were only separated by grass and an outdoor swimming pool. These days the two schools are one and now languish under the rather grandiose moniker, The Medway Academy ;)

It was a while ago so memory not too clear. I was only there a few months
I remember a corridor with a glass panel that started around 8' high up to say 10 or 12'.
On the other side, so far as I know was exactly the same for the girls.
Tickled me it became an all girls school. Must have been huge

Wow lucky guy. I went to an all boys school and whist the all girls school was down the road, it was a big no, no to go round there!
