Beware 30 second sampling . Public note to self

I sample a lot of new to me albums on Amazon and AllMusic.
They give 30 seconds per track. I think/thought that was fine

Recently filling up on John Hiatt albums. All good to excellent BTW

Kept thinking about The Tiki Bar is open. Doesn't sample that well at all
Listening to Stolen Moments I was persuaded that maybe The Tiki bar might grow on me. There was also someone in this very emporium that recommended it.
After 1 listen I knew it was good.
Must say after about 3-4 listens it is truly wonderful - so be careful, 30 second samples don't always cut it

Will revisit the JH albums I have as he beds into my consciousness, current ratings go from 5 to 9 out of 10 so I guessed The Tiki bar was a 5 from the samples - not so it is a 9 !
