Now that I have collected my new TRON Seven Reference Phono stage to go with my Decca C4E, I no longer need my trusty World Designs Phono 3 & PSU 3. I bought this stage from Bob Orbell (on the WD Forum) in December 2011. Bob built this (he has built lots of WD stuff) and it was checked over by Graham Tricker (TRON amplifier designer) just over a year ago.
The Phono 3 is a standard MM stage. If you want to use a MC cartridge, then you will need a SUT. It is in excellent condition and comes with the umbilical power cord, which connects the PSU to the Phono 3. This is arguably similar in performance to the EAR 834. In kit form, this is now £600.
