Can anyone explain the 12 pin connection between the pcb and motor on a sl120, or probably any other servo controlled technics.

I need to make an umbilicle cord between the two but am struggling to find a 12 way connector/cable than i like. I found a couple of candidates but they look a little weedy so i guess i need to work out what sort of voltage/current is carried here.

Anyone shed any light on it?

In the mean time ill try and dig out my multimeter but i think its burried in the loft somwhere.

Hi Graeme,
Not sure what you want to do when you talk about an umbilicle cord.
However there are more that 12 connections to the motor coil assembly; you are probably only looking at the pulse coils.
I would sugest you keep well away from trying to do anything 'clever' in this area or you will finish up with a well fried assembly.

Its all sorted now, however, i typed sl120 when i ment sl150:o

I believe the sl120 has the same electronics as the sl1200/1210? Not sure i'd want to try seperating that lot!

SL150's are simple in comparison.
