Greetings to all AOS'ers !
I'm Steve , currently residing just outside Bradford.
I've been a long-time lurker on this forum and am grateful for the knowledge and advice gleaned over the years.
I thought it was about time I jumped aboard , so here I am !
For details of my humble but much-loved system , please see my signature , some of it may be ancient but it still sounds mighty fine to me !
I currently listen mainly via file-based audio , heresy to some no doubt , but it's all about enjoying the music , isn't it ?
I have a wide-ranging taste , from Ludovico Einaudi and Keith Jarrett through to Springsteen , the Floyd , Oysterband and Fleetwood Mac.
More recent faves are Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson's solo stuff.
Upgrades may be some way off just now , but when the bug strikes (As it will) , I'll be looking to you guys for advice and assistance.
I'll be posting a few pics in the gallery shortly , when I've got the hang of it !

Hi Steve,
Welcome to AoS and thanks for a great first post.
There's a list of 'How to do it' type stuff here (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?7549-How-To) & if you need any more help, then just yell & someone will oblige, I'm sure.

Cheers

Welcome to AoS Steve.

You're right, it's all about enjoying the music - the music comes first, the equipment second!

Looking forward to seeing those photographs.

Welcome again

Hi Stu
Thanks for the welcome
Ah , the Mumtaz , in Great Horton , I know it well , always packed of an evening.
Not sure what condition the takeaway would be in by the time it gets to you though !
Best wishes , Steve

Hi Steve, welcome to AoS. I haven't been to Yorkshire for some years now, but the last time I stayed there I needed several days to recover from alcoholic poisoning. Such hospitality was unknown to me outside of the West Indies.

Too much window area on the mumtaz for this weather. High risk of stroke unless on a saline drip

Also , ahoy from the Bramley/Pudsey border
