Last weekend I saw amongst other artists, Jason McNiff (http://www.jasonmcniff.com/) who performed a superb solo session with just him and his guitar. After his set I wanted to buy a CD, but he had only brought a few with him and the guy in front of me bought the last one. Jason said I could order via his website, but couldn't promise a signed one so offered to send me one personally if I paid for it. I handed over ten pounds and he punched my address into his iPhone. I wasn't sure he had it right and thought oh well, the show was great, so no worries but I wondered if I would get a CD?

Well, it seems he didn't get my address right, or something went wrong as he lost it. But I got a text from my mate in the week saying Jason had lost my address and could I send it to him and he would pass it on. Apparently Jason remembered we mentioned Steve Arlene from The Arlene's, so he contacted him to ask if he knew me and Steve contacted my mate etc., etc.

Anyway, today not one, but two albums arrived from Jason - what a great bloke to take the trouble to track me down after losing my address, but also to send two albums :)

It so nice when you see something of this nature happen. Gives you confidence in your fellow human being :)

Great story, Tim, and thank you for sharing it. I’m quite sure similar things happen daily everywhere on this earth, but unfortunately they are very rarely mentioned or reported.

Werner.
