I just got the new T430 i7 3520M with 16 gigs ddr3, Nvidia 5200M grafix with 1 gig on board ddr3 and uses another gig shared,500 gig. SSD.
I got the better wifi reciver,14 inch HD screen,9 cell battery,bluetooth,camera and mic and dose this thing rock!
I love the new chicklet style key board and it's back lit, it's not built as heavy as my old T61 and I'm told the internal cadge is now graphite and carbon fiber.
It still feels strong and substantial but is much thinner.
W.E.I. score is as follows
PROCESSOR 7.2
MEMORY (RAM) 7.6
GRAPHICS (AERO) 6.5
GAMING GRAPHICS 6.5
PRIMARY HARD DISK 7.9
I am stoked this is the best computer I have ever had with 20G internet speed down loads just smoke through the 1600 mhz. FSB.
I am in laptop bliss!
Any other new laptops out there?
They have come so far in the last few years.
