For Sale: Jamo Cornet 145 (Black)

Aside from underneath, these could fairly be described as mint. They look superb and they sound superb. I thought these would be staying but as no-one wants my Mission 751's, these have to go instead. Bah!

These are £35 collected from Glastonbury (price reflects their condition so no offers thank you).

Next day delivery to the UK mainland only will be £15.

These are seriously tuneful little speakers and at £35 they are an absolute steal. Go on, treat yourself ;)

They are indeed - far more so than their budget credentials might lead you to believe. Jamo obviously put a bit of thought into these.

I remember taking them down to Frank's (Effem) and for a laugh we stuck them on the end of the Bel Canto eVo 200.2. Well...

They certainly stepped up to the plate. Deep articulate bass and plenty of it. Not quite what we were expecting.

They are quick and clean and go plenty loud and are thoroughly musical.

They also look really smart too, at least with the covers on.

You've said it all chaps. The Cornet range was full toned, but NEVER harsh or as bland as similar voiced cheap Tannoy's could be (Mercury M2?) and these babies were rather nice as I recall. Jamo were/are the biggest European loudspeaker manufacturer I understand and at their best, they could compete with anything out there IMO...

During the last BBC equipment sell off I noted several pairs of Cornet 145's listed for sale so the BBC obviously rate them ;)

Why did they have to be black? :)

Is the colour really such a deal breaker Filipe? If I had the spare cash I would snap these up in an instant, unfortunately this month is proving to be a bit of a drain on my wallet :(

Tbh I'm very biased with black speakers... But I'm also not sure if in my particular situation they would add anything to my dm1's, ditton 22, nad 8225 (black!), jbl l112 etc...,

Still here...

The Cornets were either black or a rather unconvincing 'rosewood/mahogany' colour. The black's better here IMO :)

Still here...

Shouldn't be at that price :mental:

Fabulous little pair of speakers and as Chris said earlier, they gave a very good account of themselves at one of my bakeoffs - sat on a dining chair too!

...sat on a dining chair too!

I'd forgotten that little detail

They have greater excursion limits than the Mission 751 so will play louder. Very capable little speaker.
