Hi My name is Aki and im from Solihull, id like to get unbiased, honest reviews about all things sound as i would like to get the best possible sound for my Home media system.


My ideal setup would be a Receiver, 5.1 speakers, LED 47" TV and possibly zone setup with additional speakers in the other rooms

Im still in search for a decent 5.1 surround and a Receiver. My living room is 12" x 16" so speakers with modest wattage (100W) is ideal, but I may not even need that much Wattage

Welcome to AoS, it's nice to have you here. Don't get too hung up on power output figures - I regularly use 2 different power amplifiers, one of which is a measly 22 watts, the other totals over 300 watts into my speakers. At good volumes, you can't tell the difference in power requirement terms. At obscene levels......well maybe. Potential power delivery means nothing without reference to the load that the speakers present to the amp.
What sort of music do you like to listen to?
