....cost me a fortune?????
Hello to one and all,
My name, according to my mother and magistrates, is David. I've got red hair. Hence the moniker.
When I'm not working, I'm based in east manchester, when I work I'm around the botlek area of Holland, Hellevoetsluis.
As I am mainly transient, I don't have a big audio ensemble. So I have, after many buys and sells, acquired a laptop, a Beresford T7520, a pair of adam speakers, a pair of wharfedale actives and some expensive cables, which I have been assured are very inexpensive. But I still think they're expensive.
I'm aiming to buy a BK monolith or an xxls400, but have no idea of how to integrate them, so any good advice will be appreciated.
My tastes are eclectic. Like some trance, some rock, choral and organ music but not opera, mainly just to listen to and absorb, rather than play 'spot the instrument' .
I'd like to think that with a judicious amount of fettling, this will be a good set up for years to come. But I know beresford has something new round the corner, other speaker makers and cable makers will be progressing further. So, for now, I'll just browse on here, learn a bit, ask questions and hopefully get the best from what I've got.
