Tom Evans Vibe and Pulse2, Lithos 7 boards all original factory fitted, pretty much immaculate, even the top has almost no ‘swirl marks’ which are difficult to avoid with Perspex. Naturally it works without fault. I bought this a year and a half or so ago. The previous owner had bought it from a chap who had it in a second system in an outbuilding where it never got used (or something bizarre like that) so it has never been thrashed or messed with or anything untoward; I’d suggest it’s as good an example as you are likely to find second hand.

Plenty more out there on the web. Five line inputs, two buffered ultra-low impedance outputs and the DACT volume control. This pre really sings into a Linear A I have been told, but I was silly enough to sell my Linear A because a Vibe/Pulse combo never turned up whilst I owned it so I have not had the pleasure of checking this out. What I can say is that it is as close as I have ever come to hearing the fabled ‘ straight wire with gain’. It has no sound of its own, no colour, no polishing up no greying out or zing, bloat, sibilance, absolutely NO background noise, nothing. Whatever is put in comes out, amplified. Kind of like a passive pre but with real welly.
£2200 plus insured postage and packing, or of course you are welcome to do cash on collection from West London. No original cases, remain assured it will be properly packed for transit if that is required.
