My name is Chris and I live in West London.

I used to be a great fan of Hi Fi and still have an old Meridian system gathering dust, a pair of M3's and the MCD(?) pre-amps etc. to drive them. More into personal music players now - but defo not an ipod. Have a Cowon player using FLAC files and some great Blue Ant headphones.

My music is stuck in the 70's and 80's - stadium stuff and any guitar sounds.

Looking forward to browsing the forum - perhaps I'll be inspired to change back!

Chris, hello from New Zealand. I've used the Cowon player before. Superior sound compared with i-thingies. Play Flac and get a decent headphone and you are away! One of the nice things about FLAC is its ready availability, or if not then ripping your CDs is an easy thing to do.
