Yep, you heard right, £150 !!!
Complete with a 3 month old pair of 2.5M RCA-XLR Van Damme Blue speaker cables which cost me over £50 and the original Linn speaker cable (3M I think).
The only caveat is that you will need to listen to this wonderful combo in the dark if you are offended by aesthetically challenged hi-fi .
Everything works perfectly and is a wonderful sounding duo, but the Sara's have a few scratches on the top primarily and the sides to a lesser extent, one of the tweeters is a bit pushed in (it doesn't affect the sound and so I haven't tried to get it out). The stands are in pretty good nick and the amplifier isn't; in fact it is a bit of a car crash. It is functionally and operationally perfect and sounds spot on but is best viewed where it can't be seen.
Typical pre-loved, cosmetically good values of these would set you back
Speakers - £150-200
Stands - £30-50
DC300A - £250-300
plus 2 sets of speaker cables
so, over £500 in all, offered for the princely sum of £150 collected from the Luton / Tring area.
Can't be bad :)
