View Full Version : Shure SC35C, anyone tried a Jico SS35C on either a new body or USA one ?

If so are they anyware close to US made SS35C ?

I do have a new in box Shure SS35C but they are not alway cheap and easy to find


I still don't have the vintage SC35C body ...

They also have the Dj glowing in the dark version

I could be wrong, but from memory I think the Jico replacement stylus for the SC35C is a completely different beast to the original stylus. The SC35C is a low compliance cartridge for a high mass arm that needs to track heavy to show its best. I think the Jico stylus is intended as high compliance, lighter tracker. I'd wait and seek out an original if possible.

Jico does have both a low compliance and the SAS stylus

I have Ed Saunders Styli for both my Shure 'V15, Mk.III' & Stanton '681' very very happy with both.. There is also a ES styli available for your '35'
