Ohm Walsh 'F' loudspeaker

Anybody remember these fascinating American speakers? They had a full range drive unit with a long narrow cone facing down into the cabinet and the sound was radiated from the back of the cone which had areas dedicated to bass, mid and treble. I heard a pair way back in the seventies, but I'm blowed if I can remember if they were any good. I do recall they were expensive though.

I remember BIC (venturi) speakers, usually had horn tweeters, but I can't recall anything looking like the Ohms.

I see what you mean Andr'e, but they use what looks like a normally proportioned bass unit, as opposed to the elongated full range cone on the Ohms.

I believe they are, but I've not seen a reference to a speaker like the 'F' design anywhere for years.

At 11am-ish this very morning a pair of German Physiks Un-Limited II speakers are due to arrive. These use the same 'bending wave' speaker technology as the Ohms. In fact, the Ohms are regarded as the predecessors to the GP driver.
