View Full Version : More test gear - Reverse RIAA network

This will stir memories for those of a certain age.
Remember when you used to build projects into an old tobacco tin? Particularly if it was something to do with radio or RF.

Well I picked up a small cigar tin a couple of years ago, 'I'll find a use for this some day' I thought. Now I have:

It's a reverse RIAA network so I can test the phono amps direct from the signal genny.
This is a 1KHz square wave through the all triode phono pre:

And lastly, the network itself, made with measured components to be very accurate:

I haven't done anything like this in years!!

Any chance of pics and a circuit of the Phono Stage? I made one myself a while back using ECC82's. I am very pleased with it. It's a little noisy but eminently 'liveable' with.
