Never heard anything on the news. Seems he passed away on Feb 05 at 71 of lung cancer.

Lead singer of The Troggs (Wild Thing) and was a UFO hunter or such like.

This was on all the news broadcasts in February. Surprised people missed it. RIP Reg. In case anyone doesn't know he was lead vocals in The Troggs and wrote 'Love Is All Around'. Made a load of money from the Wet Wet Wet cover and spent much of it on research into Crop Circles / UFOs. Bit of a character apparently.

Ah yes, I know who he is now. I think he was on BBC4 doing something last year, as I remember the Wet Wet Wet thing. Yup, RIP Reg.
