I've got impulses of all the finest studio reverbs through history and a number of major real spaces (and some wacky stuff too!)

EDIT: Sorry just read again and realise that their using it to derive a picture of the room not just its sonic 'fingerprint', neat! (Although it's a relatively obvious extention of the convolution technique, just takes more processing power)

Seems to be relatively cheap too with 4 mics slung, I think it was almost anywhere.
My assumption was this would come down dramatically in price so us punters could get one in the next few years, or at least hire one
