Scratch build DIY.
12B4A Single Ended pre-amp. The 12B4 is really a small noval power tube with a plate dissipation of 5.5W. So unlike the usual pre-amp type tubes like ecc8x this tube has current drive.
Features :-
* Voltage gain is 6x
* Dual power supply (separate HT and Heater transformers)
* Large 10H HT Choke with a C-R-C-L-C-R-C supply for no psu noise. This pre-amp is silent and so can be used to drive a transistor power amp.
* High purity solid core silver wire in silicon or Teflon for audio paths
* PEC Hot moulded carbon Pot
* Audionote copper PIO output capacitors
* 2 inputs switchable by mini toggle
* HT can be switched on separately from heaters if you want a soft start
