Hi All,
Here are my handbuilt brass KEL84 monoblocks. I built these in November 2012, so only just run in.
They are basically WD Kel84 but with EZ81 tube rectification and better transformers and chokes. Being monoblock also improves things no end.
I have used top quality parts in these eg. Mundorf Supreme coulping capacitors, Mundorf Polypropylene power supply capacitors (will last a lifetime) and Kiwame resistors thoughout.
Silver mica capacitors in filter networks. The transformers/chokes are british made from VVT transformers on the Isle of Wight.
The chassis is 14 gauge brass with solid beech side cheeks.
Valves used are Siemans nos E80CF and Europe nos EZ81 with nos 1975 Russian EL84-K valves.

A matching passive pre is included that has been built to match the monoblocks.
Hand built using brass and aluminium billet (to add weight) with two pairs of phono inputs switchable on the front.
Potentiometer is a cherry picked Tocos unit(100k) with very good channel matching.
Collection preferred due the weight and packing but could deliver a short distance, contact me.
