Just wondering if there would be any interest in my Shanling CD-T80 cd player.

It has an upgraded output stage - a matched pair of NOS Western Electric 396a valves and LM4652 opamps. Plenty on google about these highly regarded mods.

A very musical spinner: detailed, rich sound but not overly warm, crystal clear treble - no harshness or grain. Good reviews on TNT. Also capable of upsampling cds to 24/96 from the remote which most reviewers seem to prefer. I didn't.

In first class cosmetic condition - no nicks, scuffs or scratches. Complete with solid aluminium remote, original box and the original valves are available as spares.

I would want £250 plus p&p or would swap plus cash for an audiophilleo 2 or similar high end usb-spdif converter.

Thanks Thomas. It does sound great but I mostly stream audio these days so its not getting much love at the moment. I am auditioning a couple of spdif-converters and was thinking about selling this and/or my squeezebox classic to fund the purchase.
