All the best for the venture. GRF's with the curved edges look really nice.

Are you only considering making cabinets for Tannoy's or can you adapt your designs for other vintage dual concentrics that are a little larger i.e 18".

Hehe, size is not important:) An 18" DC in the right cabinet would be a very interesting project. A GRF style cab would be large and give a big sound I would think.
If the T&S parameters are available and a backloaded horn is desired, I would model that in Hornresp (as I did for the taller narrower cab design I made) to simulate the best possible outcome before coming up with the cutting list.
Hornresp has proved invaluable in the Tapped horn and mid bass horn designs too.

So the answer is definitely yes. If you PM me we can exchange phone numbers for a chat to get higher bandwidth info exchange.

Hi marco, Yes I'm well thank you.

I do look in from time to time to see if there are any threads that may interest me but unfortunately there seems to be very little about the vintage hifi I like and use on any forum nowadays.

I can talk JBL2482's (ok not that vintage), and Vitavox S2's (which are) anytime:)
I have a pair of 15" Vitavox AK-157's here at the moment that are going into a pair of mid bass horns soon. They sound nice on mid bass duties.

With the exception of DU120's all Vitavox drivers are very good. I've played around with K15/40's and CN351's (AK 154's I think?) in the past. Both were exceptional bt I preferred the 351's in the modded JBL cabinets I was using.
