View Full Version : Tea and a chat = ended up with LP's

Popped along to see my neighbors who I have known for 20 odd years , started talking about music in general conversation while having a chat and a cuppa tea :)

Next thing I know Lyn says " I have some old LP's upstairs , Ill go and get some "

Down comes , The Doors , Wishbone Ash , Hendrix , Beetles , Stones , Blues , Dr Hook , Roxy Music ,

Over 150 LP's and loads of demo singles all in cardboard sleeves

Turns out Lyn was bast mates with someone in the music industry back in the day and was on the mailing list for promo / demo singles that were sent out to radio stations

All VERY good fun

A price was agreed and I am now the owner :D

Didn't even have to go to the boot sale :)

Very happy :D

No time to do a list as work and decorating and rebuilding my listening room all get in the way

Less than a quid per fuzzy sounds like an excellent deal there Al. :) Thank goodness "Dr Hook" was included in your list, otherwise your pishanto credentials would be under severe scrutiny! :D
