I'm selling my NAD C320BEE integrated amplifier with remote and Acoustic Energy AE109 speakers as we have moved recently from a detached house into a semi-detached and TBH the system just isn't getting used anymore so I'm going to build a decent headphone system to run alongside my MacBook Pro :)

I've owned both the amp and speakers from BRAND NEW (I think around 2000 they were bought IIRC). Unfortunately I don't have the box for the amp as it got damaged but I do have the boxes for the speakers! However I'd much prefer that they're collected for peace of mind and to save them getting damaged in transit!

The amp:

NAD C320BEE in grey: http://nadelectronics.com/products/hifi-amplifiers/C-320BEE-Stereo-Integrated-Amplifier (everything you need to know is in the data sheet in Manuals & Downloads). It's a brilliant amp; VERY well reviewed. Solid, battleship like build as NAD are renowned for and works with NO issues whatsoever! Comes with the original remote as well. Power lead is built in. The very top left hand corner of the fascia has been damaged but it was a straight crack and I glued it back on. It's not noticeable unless looked directly at when close up

Acoustic Energy AE109 speakers: Really good speakers; have been brilliant throughout owning them. They work very well with all music and suit the NAD amp down to a tee. Easy to drive, they go loud and deep but with very good control and clarity as well. Very heavy speakers for their size as they're internally mass-loaded. Come with all original grilles, spikes and plinths (however these have been slightly damaged over the years, pics show the damage to the plinths). Grilles are in full but could do with a little TLC (cloth has started to come loose from the edges so could do with a bit of gluing but that's it)! The speakers themselves aren't damaged at all in any way. Speakers are all solid; tweeters are perfect with no issues. Speaker foams haven't perished like a lot of them have!

Basic reviews: Extracts from reviews:

What Hi-Fi 1996 Awards:
"The 109s' scale and clarity are impressive. Tight, agile, controlled and extremely natural, they focus attention on the musical performance - these are class-leading speakers"

What Hi-Fi October 1996:

Rated: 5 Star Buy
For: commanding balance; invigorating sonic snap
Against: need space; some others are slightly better for rock
Verdict: The AE109s are supreme all-rounders in this test, though others pip them for raging rock
