Thanks for that Frank. They do look very 'audiophile' indeed, I wonder if they sound as 'proper' as they look ?

Not sure what they are but they look like they should sound amazing and probably pretty pricey too! :)

They are, as Frank says, designed and made by James (who posts on pfm - look in the DIY section).

They are a three-way, there is a bass driver behind the lower grill and no, they aren't exactly cheap.

They are very nicely made, but I've no idea what they sound like. I have heard the small two-way he previously designed. This is also very nicely made, but I wasn't very taken with its sound (though some like it).

If you mean James who designs/builds ERGO's I don't think The're one of his, or at least not any ones I've ever seen. Also looked through the PFM diy section and can't see them in there by anyone else either.
