This is a hell of an amp. It's basically a SU-MA10 minus the dac. Effortless drive and control, real quality and quite rare. Don't let the badge concern you with this one. If you want a big integrated, few are better.
Thats right rick great quality great build and sound to die for

One of Technics's respected integrated amps and a serious power house built with 'proffessional' components throughout.
My SU VX800 falls in the same category, similar proffessional componants and big clean effortless power. These particular Techie flagships are superb, hence I'm on my third SU VX800 - enough said ;).
This 900 is a vintage gem :) My 800 weighs in at 17kg, I wouldn't be surprised if this 900 is similar or heavier still !
A hefty 21kg
21 kg of power supply. How reassuring!
I recently sold my MA-10, which ended up overseas. I think that's where the market is for these now. Such a shame as things like this are simply not made anymore. Well, not for less than a new car. If I needed another, Henry............You know the rest.
Thanks rik I would think that this amp would be well costly to develop and market today

Henry only has 36 posts , He may not know he has a PM or how to access them or set up email notifications of PM's
I have not seen any " STUFF " advertised

After 20 years of the internet, using a pretty standard forum isn't rocket science.
And Henry has two items listed which adds up to 'stuff' in my book.
But the good news is he has been in touch now. :)
Still for sale flagship peformance and build
or maybe swap for a valve amp thats what i am hankering after
Nobody want this is it overpriced?
one sold on eBay recently for that amount although there was only one bid so it may be a bit over the odds....looks like superb machine and remember it getting great reviews when it came out...which was quite a while ago me thinks...what was it, early 90,s ?

Generally you'll get a better price for stuff on eBay but there is all the fee's & problem buyers to contend with :(
On the forums I reckon £225ish would be about right... Lovely amp btw
