Partner says they have to go :( Pity, I've been enjoying this Arcam!!!

Oh well, the collection has to slim down sadly.

For sale, my Arcam Alpha 10P.

Lovely sounding poweramp, no harshness or other nastiness. Just gets on with the music!!

The Arcam is in very good condition and working well. Has a tiny rub mark on top right of the front panel. Plus, a tiny hairline crack at the top right hand corner. Nothing too serious though!!

This lovely Arcam cost me 200 Pounds....looking to get back the same.

The freebie will be a pair of Linn Helix MK1 Speakers. They are in very good condition for their age. But do expect a few marks as they are over 20 years old. They come with their own stands, grills and spikes. Sadly I don't have the links that converts to single wire. Lovely speakers with a big musical sound, will be sorry to see them go.

If member wants to buy the Linn Helix, I'm looking around 75 Pounds for them. The Linn's must be collected.

If member buys the Arcam and collects, they will get the Linn's for free!!

The Helix in any form was a CLEAR IMPROVEMENT on the dire Nexus and shrieky Index models, so well worth a punt IMO, since the balance wasn't too far from neutrality but without losing the impact so beloved of Linnies :) The shape was just beginning to give way to multi-driver column type speakers, which is a shame really, as the replacement keilidh's only really work in expensive active form, losing most of the midrange when driven passively :(

FFS people - this amp IS NOTHING LIKE a harsh and nasty Alpha 8 power amp, which itself was tweaked as production went on.. The 10P is grainless, beefy without thickness in the bass and has a lovely mid. For the money Shane's asking you really can't go wrong - and I can't buy it because I'm amped out right now and just don't have the funds for yet another box!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, David. This 10P also has a decent headphone jack too, was enjoying my Grado SR80's with it :eyebrows:

If this 10P doesn't sell in 1 week, I may as well hold on to it for a bit!!
