SHILL SHILL SHILL

.

Some silly muppets have no humour at all and misunderstand the obvious

"Really don't mind if you sit this one out.

My words but a whisper -- your deafness a SHOUT.
I may make you feel but I can't make you think.
Your sperm's in the gutter -- your love's in the sink.
So you ride yourselves over the fields and
you make all your animal deals and
your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.
And the sand-castle virtues are all swept away in
the tidal destruction
the moral melee.
The elastic retreat rings the close of play as the last wave uncovers
the newfangled way.
But your new shoes are worn at the heels and
your suntan does rapidly peel and
your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.

And the love that I feel is so far away:
I'm a bad dream that I just had today -- and you
shake your head and
say it's a shame.

Spin me back down the years and the days of my youth.
Draw the lace and black curtains and shut out the whole truth.
Spin me down the long ages: let them sing the song........."

I think Dave is referring to the comments on HFS.

I just came back to severely edit the post, but as I'm 'Thick as a brick' and being a fan of this album, I think I'll leave it as is

As for the Aria, I'm sure it's excellent - and so it bloody should be at the money they're asking.

Around £800 I think and Tim, the wet paint don't stick long to these greasy paws

This has to be bloody good to justify 3 times the price of the discontinued Fono MC. In fact it suspiciously has the same flexibility only you don't have to open the case. Fono would give some £700 stages a close run so this needs to be competitive up to £2K I think to give the same sound per pound value. In the meantime it appears Rega are moving gradually away from the budget sector as far as amplification is concerned.

Well, they do have an £85 and an £198 phono stages and an integrated amp at £498..

Audioman

But the Aria is now the cheapest MC capable pre amp !
