Surely if he's getting that good results just sanding, then something more radical should do even better. I've got an industrial angle grinder in the workshop. I'll dig that out and give a couple of my records a go..............!
It seems he's serious. I wonder if there'll be a queue of people with ruined records lining up to sue him?

I think it's an interesting approach for LPs that are already unplayable - what's to lose?

The theory makes sense but I don't expect it's something you should do when you've had a sniff of the barmaid's apron!
I may give it a go on something that's completely loblocksed.
