ok so i followed instructions and dont really know how it works
although i have been doing a lot of reading on it
and didnt know how to fix it when i only got sound out of one channel (had the power cap on left channel wrong way round :doh:)
but... it works and i made it

now i want to know how to make it better? any ideas?
these are the bits
1 x High Quality Dual Layer PCB, with Ground Plane.
1 x 10K Pot with Built In Switch
1 x OPA2134PA Op-Amp
1 x 8 Pin Op-Amp Socket
1 x TLE2426 Rail-Splitter
2 x Panasonic FC 470uf 16volt Capacitors
2 x 0.22uf Vishay/BC Capacitors
9 x 1% Resistors for gain 11 or 4
2 x Stereo Jack Socket
1 x 9volt Battery Snap
1 x 3mm Blue LED
