FS: Celestion DL6 (original) in Black

This is the original version with the soft dome tweeter. In very good condition for their age. One of the binding posts lost its screw but a suitable one has been substituted.

Regrettably I don't have any suitable boxes in which to ship these so it's collection only from Glastonbury.

A Billy bargain for someone Chris, these sound great with a small DAC and a Mini-T amp :)

A steal at 20 quid and if you were closer to me I would have them off you. Great little speaker.

Indeed they are. BTW the grilles don't look that wrinkly to the naked eye. They are in good nick.

Good little boxes these, as were most Celestions from this era :) I'm more used to seeing these in the odd school environment with the tweeter and dust-cap domes pushed in - bloody teenage kids :rolleyes:

Chris, I am sooo tempted by these, would you be in any hurry for me to pick them up? My father lives in Wales and I could collect them on a journey through in a few weeks time.

A few weeks huh? I'll have to ponder that. I'd really like them gone. I have a pile of other stuff to sell. This is just the start. Having a good old clearout. I may sell the entire AV system, TV included (not the Audiolab though).

Tim, they're TWENTY NOTES FFS and although they won't be as refined as your Harbs, they WILL give you a similarly refined tonal balance with minimal sting, no boom and no squawk either if memory serves. This series was superb, so forget the plain looks and give 'em a go for secondary duties :)

Lol, I know they're good Dave I used to have a pair back in the day and I have a pair of Celestion 5's as part of a secondary system in the study, with my T-Amp and HRT II+ DAC - so these would either have to replace the 5's or sit in a cupboard alone, without an amp or DAC!

Its just the logistics . . . . go on then, if we can work out pick ups etc (thanks Dave if you are still OK for this?) I'll take them Chris.
