Forgot to add, the system looks velly nice indeed!
Well in fact, this is a 25RS instead (7R monos to come when funds will be higher).
The table is an Amazon One with a Robert Fuchs tonearm, probably the best table I have ever had (including my Stabi S, a Vpi Scout and a Townshend Rock 7). 24 kg of pure German table ;)
That's a stunning looking system those crofts are very nice:)
Many changes since last year.
no changes on sources (Audionet and amazon) but amplification and speakers are quite new.
My Crofts are now gone, so the Harbeth,replacements are an Audio Research VSI60 with KT120 and a pair of DeVore Fidelity Gibbon 88.

Yes it is flexing but less than it seems on the pic.

it's doing well. I have let your details to a couple of French people and you may have some contacts soon.
Just a few words about the Gibbons.
As usual my purchase has been made without any prior listening. Anyway the 3 only places in Continental Europe where I could have heard them were Italy, Spain and Holland.
I must admit that after a 6 hour drive from my place to Utrecht's area, my 5 first minutes with them made me feel miserable.
My SHL5s had sold and what I was listening to was just bad, not quite as good as I was expected, no just bad and awful.
They were playing with an AMR cd player and a huge SS Luxman, they were on some kind of platform with the tweeter a little bit higher than my ears and it was :scratch:
When I plugged them on the ARC once back home, my opinion was that the less long I will have them, the better I will feel.
In fact, the surprise was just great : they do match pretty well with the ARC, though not the most tubey of valve amplifiers but it makes me think that my choice was appropriate.
These speakers are even more my liking than the SHL5, the speakers I have kept and loved for 2 years. To the sound of the Harbies, they add some air, details and elegance in a way that makes them just sound great to my ears.
So as a conclusion : if you want to have a long and happy life, do not ever buy speakers without prior listening and do not leave it to chance as I did. Good things cannot happen every time or even twice.....

Yes, it is.
It is the small T1500 integrated. Sound is really gorgeous, better than my ARC with the DeVore.
The baffles are so narrow it probably won't make a difference, but traditional convention has it that tweeters should be on the inside, to minimise confusing baffle reflections messing with the image.
By the way, Harbeth SHL5's do have air and sparkle, but maybe not so much with transformer coupled valve amps with high output impedance, as the bass then dominates too much - in my experience anyway :) The latest incarnation seems to have addressed this, but they're not so 'warm toned' now.
I really liked my SHL5 but fancied a change for an even easier load. My initial project was to buy a 845 or 300B based amplifier.
300B PSE (I was not really interested in PP except in Viva) are rare and at the beginning I wasn't sure that a 300B SET could pair my 91db DeVore but in fact after a few listening session, it seems to work pretty well.
Change of valves, now with EML 300B XLS, less blue light, better sound; lot of dust too ;)

I have just taken the plunge for a pair of Auditorium 23 Roiene speakers They are amazing, I will have to make decisions soon between speakers before my wife urges me to do !!

I'm a big fan of Amazon tt's (having owned the 2 for a while). What cartridge are you currently using?
A humble Garrott P77.
I don't fancy to climb the MC price ladder once again.
I would hardly describe the P77 as humble...;)
I had a Nagaoka MP50 too but I recently sold it. It was very good and really mellifluous but a little bit more "pipe ans sleepers" than the Garrott.
I am totally delighted by the speakers, of course they are bass shy compared to the regular audiophile stuff but music flows through them in a way that I can't describe.
That's my sort of system, Didier! I've been intrigued by Auditorium speakers for a while now, but we rarely see them in the UK, unfortunately. It would be interesting to hear from anyone else with experience of their speakers.

Mines are pretty old (20 years ??), they came with speakers that Auditorium 23 used before Phy. In fact, I bought them for pennies (some of them though )and they are more my liking than my DeVore !!!
I'm waiting for some Auditorium 23 speakers cables and I think I'll be done for a while.
Should you want to take a drive from North'ton to France, I'll welcome you with pleasure.
Lot of changes since my last mail :
- my beautiful Amazo n is gone replaced by a Transrotor Dark Star mostly for a problem of footprint
- the drivers of my Auditorium needed to be refoamed and are in Germany
- I have brought a pair of WLM Diva Monitor and brought them back from Germany, nice match with my 300B set.
