F/s: A systemdek iix900 with oem rb300 tonearm

Hi guys,

This is my second deck up for sale if any of you may be interested. I'm looking for £175 for collect-by-buyer, no cartridge for that price I'm afraid. For sure not the DL-304 that it is set up with now. For that one I'll take offers separately.

The arm is an OEM version of the RB300 with Tungsten counterweight (the MOTH ARM-2). You can have either the cork or the usual black felt mat (or both if desparate).

This is a very fine turntable and it is an absolute steal at this price, especially with the Moth arm included. I'd wish you good luck with the sale but I don't expect you will need it as I am sure this won't be here for long ;)

I rather like it too. It also went on eBAy this afternoon at £195 Buy Now option but no takers yet.

I have received a rather firm request to substantially reduce by 20-odd turntable portfolio so this is it, one by one. I know when I'm on a sticky wickett.

Really good combination this and even with stock Exit wiring, the RB300 sounds nice and 'lyrical' here, rather than 'stuck up it's backside' if you get what I mean...

Isn't there an AN deck based heavily on this one?

I don't think there can be anything based on this version of IIX900, coming out in 1985/86. What AN deck could you be referring to?

The X suspension on the Systemdek II made it a pretty great little deck, almost overnight. What held it back for a little while longer was the decent Profile I tonearm which did most thing 'all right'. It's only when you set it up with an RB300 (different board required) that it became a great deck, punching way above it's weight.

However, between the two, I still give my old Pink Triangle LPT/GTI an edge (with RB300, of course).

The Audi Note TT 1 looks like the IIX900. The platter is like from my Avatar so I approve.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. I've just got to find a cart for it now, might be a little while as I've pretty much blown the 'ents' budget for a little while to come now! Still, good things come to those who wait etc...
