This is a rare Sony TA-N7B, V-FET power amplifier. US spec 110 volt with step-up mains transformer.

It belongs to a friend of mine who is seriously and incurably ill. I've said I'd ask for expressions of interest here on AOS, as he cannot use it and needs to sell it. I believe it's working, but I've pointed out to him that due to its age it will need a full service/overhaul and also being a 110v model these factors would affect the price (I've told him how much a clean UK model is worth by the way).

Anybody interested please PM me.

He also has quite a pile of other old Hi-Fi which may be of interest to anybody visiting to view this item. He lives in Gerrards Cross, Bucks.

sure they did a smaller integrated version as well which was nice as well

There were the TA-8650 and TA-5650 VFET integrateds. I owned the 5650 and it sounded superb.
