Bought this pre and even before it came into my possession the offer came up on a pre that I had been after for a while, so this has to go. Only used this for half hour to test it was working. Selling for less than I paid Ģ260 plus P&P.

Here is the original sales info from the previous owner

'Modifications include special zero gain ZPT with regulated supplies and further filtering for each channel, including paper in oil capacitors, on the output to main amp stage. Croft Transcaps in the phono stage (MM) and the use of thin transformer wire for internal connections, which is said to give more detail than plastic insulated wire.
The volume controls were changed a couple of years ago and are now Noble pots, which are one step up from Blue Alps. These are stepped which makes setting equal volume levels left and right so easy compared to the original normal pots. The selector switch also needed changing but the correct ones were no longer available so Audioflair fitted a similar model, but this has a smaller distance between positions, which means that the switch positions do not align correctly with the markings on the front panel.'

As it has already been noted elsewhere here appears to be a valve missing, this however is part of the mods.

'The missing valve was used to provide the output to main amp, but this usually resulted in the output being too high. I had the vitale converted to the Croft zpt output, which made the valve redundant as well as reducing the output and making it much better for me.'

Looks very like the interior of a Croft.
