I bought this from REXTON about six months ago. It was due to be the basis of a second system - which I have failed to put together. Oh well...

Rexton's original sale thread is here:

http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21743

I'm selling this on exactly as it was sold to me - no arm (Rega board fitted) or lid.

The deck comes with the off board power supply.

Not a particularly well known deck, but definitely a good one. A bit of googling suggests it's from the early 90s and originally retailed at about £600 without arm. Pretty serious money back then.

Subjectively, I reckon it's a step up from the likes of a Systemdek IIX. It looks tidier too.

I'd like £150 ono plus postage at cost. I think this is about as good a deck as you will fund for that sort of money.

If you happen to have a Quad 77 power amp going spare, we may be able to do a deal.

Will post some photos of my own ASAP.

Many thanks

Martin

This used to be my old deck and easily outperformed a 2000 pound linn sondes lp12 it's the best belt drive I've owned.

Alphason made better TTs but the Linn/Naim Cartel killed them. Gave up and started making stands.

Please don't make me go to ebay.

Rexton gave the deck a new belt before selling it to me.

I'll even remove the protective layer of dust (and I hate dusting).

A quality deck with a decent offboard ps for next to nowt.

Yes Andrew,

This is one turntable that I have not tried yet, have a nice techno arm to go onto this so will give it a spin.

Nigel,

Believe me or not I used the same arm. It's takes thirty seconds to install and get he tonearm setup, it's a great little deck. I de,monstrated the deck to Martin with the technoarm I installed. Keep me posted on how you find it
