Hi guys,
I am looking for an Arcam amp in mint or excellent condition. I'm not set on Arcam, so am open to any silver coloured amp that looks smart that has 70+ watts p.c. into 8 ohms. Something warm with nice mid range that would complement small B&W speakers. I like the look of the Arcam A65+
Due to allergies I need one from an air freshener-free home and an amp that hasn't been cleaned with any products. Have seen some lovely stuff on ebay but either too expensive buy-it-now or they sprayed mr muscle on it :(
Thanks for looking :)

That's a disappointing turnout. No replies to my first post (sad face)
Someone must have an amp that would suit me...I'm open to suggestions (and human contact lol)

I'm sure you'll get some replies soon ! In the meantime both these sites are quite good for searching out second hand hi-fi :

Whats your budget ? I wouldn't get too hung up on the modern Arcams... In my experience they aren't that good until you get to the FMJ range - Even then there is better value for money out there... The old stuff however is fantastic value but pig ugly !

Well I'm not sure of your budget or if you actually need 70wpc - If you were to lower that to 50wpc I don't think you would notice any difference unless you have a huge room or listen very loudly ? That would open up a lot more options...
Budget amps I know are good [IMO!] are Cambridge Audio 640a, Denon PMA-700AE, Rotel RA-05 & B&W Aura.
Next price step up your looking at Musical Fidelity X-A1, Primare A20, Exposure 2010s...
All are modern, silver, 50wpc+ & look quite nice.
