For sale, a Wharfedale Airdale corner vintage speaker, from a mono system I was putting together (I've gone down an electrostatic route for this now).
Large corner cabinet on similar scale to a corner Tannoy Lancaster, contains a 15in bass unit, 8in midrange and a 3in tweeter. Visually in nice condition with only a few signs of age on the wood.
Sounds pretty nice too with a vintage valve monoblock, I haven't been able to get inside to check the surrounds on the 8 and 3in cones but the one on the 15in is fine.
These speakers were re-released by Wharfedale a while back as the Wharfedale Airdale Heritage, at £10,000 a pair. Well I only have one, it's vintage, but I need the space so how about £100?
Collection only from Reading area, it's impossible to ship this.
