Technics 1200 mk2 what feet ?

I have a mint Tech 1200mk2 boxed in the garage and I was thinking of doing some mods, I hear that the feet are poor and benefit by replacement so could anyone recommend what to buy and where from please.
The mat is a very heavy, thick rubber mat, not sure if that is the original?.
Any other tips also welcomed :)
I do intend to fit and external power supply at some time as well

Your'e in exactly the right place.
There are so many things you can do to upgrade the standard box and you can spend £100s into low £1000s depending on budget
Feet might be the right place to start, or not !
I have Sorborthane which I think are good, maybe not the very best
I know of Isonoe and there are others that I hope someone else will chip in with.
There is even a special Technics thread you might like to peruse.
If no one else gives the link I can work out how to find it if you don't beat me to it

Isonone if you want to spend some money otherwise sorbothane if you want to save money, if you're really want to spend money you can actually use both at the same time

Vantage Audio feet are very effective (I use them on my SL1210) although they are not as pretty as the Isonoe's, unfortunately Vantage are in hiatus at the moment. Dave at MCRU sells a similar product at a very reasonable price if memory serves ;)

Mike thanks I have some sorbothane amplifier feet so Ill give them a try first

Andrew, Isonone is the name I was trying to remember as I have heard of them before, they realy look the business ;).

Dave if the vantage audio feet are those shaped like a cone Ive just ordered some of those off ebay, they look great and are cheap ;)

I prefer large (50mm dia) Sorbothane semispheres over Isonone and they are way cheaper. You have to ask yourself why do they make sorbothane boots for the Isonone's as an upgrade? It's a thought!
