Wot?!? Fully automatic? This can't be a serious hifi turntable. :nono:
Wrong! :D

Very nice - works perfectly. Lid is in good condition, too.
What might be called a 'standard Japanese tonearm' - the same general kind of arm to be found on the Technics direct drives (1210, 1800 etc), for example - i.e. it can happily accommodate some surprisingly good cartridges! My fave with it was my £400 rrp Zu / Denon DL-103, as in the photos.
Removeable (SME type) headshell.

Here's the eBay auction I bought it from. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audiophile-Mitsubishi-DP-EC10-Fully-Automatic-Direct-Drive-Turntable-EX-/190739809560?pt=Vintage_Electronics_R2&hash=item2c68fa8518&ssPageName=RSS%3AB%3ASHOP%3AGB%3A101&nma=true&si=NC5YsM0pm9Y34e%252B3ZT%252BV7QvXzso%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
See the full item description - seller says he refurbed it.

Here's the spec from Vinyl Engine and a User Manual link http://www.vinylengine.com/library/mitsubishi-diatone/dp-ec10.shtml

£160 collected (GL17), or we may be able to meet up.

Cartridge and LP pucks and Sumiko headshell not included. I'll supply a different headshell.

Yes, it's a very nice deck; especially for that sort of money. It's defo in Techie 1210 territory soundwise.

No rush to sell, but it would be nice to free up the space! :)

Jerry:
What do you recon to that SEE 'pig' ?

The Pig - I think it's great - some here may recall my great LP puck shootout from a year or two ago - the Pig was pretty much as good as the best of the rest, and better than most.

It was a very kind prezzie from a forum member when I briefly owned a Revolver deck. The deck went pronto - it was a bit naff really! - the Pig is here for the duration! A great little accessory. :)
