Rare chance to grab hold of a piece of 1980's classic gear;
This is a Sharp VZ-2500 ghetto blaster,...the desirable one with the dual linear tracking turntable that plays both sides of the record.
Whether you are an old-skool B-Boy, collector or just want something that looks super retro this is definitely one to consider.
I had the ghetto blaster sent to Deco Audio in Aylesbury who went through all circuitry re-soldering any dry joints and upgrading components especially in power supply stage.
Cassette deck has also been serviced and works fine. Turntable works without fault and so does the radio. Aerial is complete except for the metal tip which is missing, I will try to find a replacement and repair but I cannot guarantee this.
The only thing I would pick up on which can be pretty standard on these old ghetto blasters is that there is a slight transformer hum from the power supply but when you are playing music you will hardly notice it. There are some minor scuffs on the blaster but overall in superb condition.
I am looking for best offer over £200.
